God's Love, Forgiveness, and Promise of Eternal Joy

Welcome to Christianity.com. I am Judy, a retired pastor and musician, and a Christian. My faith will never change: I know that God loves me, accepts me, forgives my sins, and is preparing a place for me to be with Him forever. These truths are blessings to my daily life and can be for yours as well.

Psalm 139 has been a profound affirmation of God’s love for me. It reminds me that He was with me while I was being formed in my mother’s womb and that He knows everything about me—my thoughts, my words before I speak them, and even where I will sit before I sit down. As described in Scripture, this intimate knowledge of us reflects His boundless love for you and me.

Not only does God love us, but He also accepts us just as we are and promises to care for us through every challenge. His acceptance is so beautifully displayed through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. Jesus, the perfect Lamb of God—fully divine and fully human—came to earth to take our place, paying the price for our sins so we could be forgiven and live eternally with Him in Heaven.

Heaven will be a place of no more sickness, sorrow, pain, or death, just the joy of being in God’s presence forever. Until then, God’s Word—the Bible—is our guide, providing everything we need to live a life that pleases and honors Him.
