Do you ever tell yourself:
“I can’t rest until...”
The house is clean.
The messages are answered.
The errands are finished.
The deadline is met.
The list is done.
But somehow, the list is never actually done.
Hebrews 4 reminds us that “there remains...a Sabbath-rest for the people of God.”
Rest is not something you earn after completing everything. It is part of God’s design.
Sometimes faithfulness looks like getting the work done.
And sometimes it looks like knowing when to stop.
