Electro Switch Appoints Shawn Smith as Chief Executive Officer and Matt Yopchick as Chief Financial Officer

WEYMOUTH, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec 11, 2025--

Electro Switch Corp. (“Electro Switch” or the “Company”), a leading manufacturer of engineered switches and related components for critical applications in the power, utility, data center, defense, and industrial markets, announced today that its Board of Directors has appointed Shawn Smith as Chief Executive Officer and Matt Yopchick as Chief Financial Officer.

Shawn Smith brings more than 30+ years of industry expertise and executive leadership experience to Electro Switch. He most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Trachte, a manufacturer of custom-engineered control building solutions for the utility and data center markets. He previously held senior leadership roles at MTE Corporation, AMETEK, and Thomas & Betts (now ABB).

He previously held senior finance positions at Galata Chemicals and Chemtura, and he started his career in the audit practice at PwC.
