Hurricane Electric Expands Network in New Zealand With New Point of Presence at Data Vault in Auckland

AUCKLAND, New Zealand--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov 25, 2025--

Hurricane Electric, the world’s largest IPv6-native Internet backbone, announced today that it has established a new Point of Presence (PoP) at Data Vault Auckland, located at 162 Grafton Road, Auckland 1010, New Zealand.

Data Vault Auckland provides a highly secure, carrier-neutral environment with access to multiple telecommunications providers and major Internet exchanges. The facility is strategically located in the heart of Auckland’s central business district, enabling enterprises and service providers throughout New Zealand to interconnect seamlessly with local and global networks.

Customers at Data Vault Auckland will now have access to Hurricane Electric’s extensive IPv4 and IPv6 network through 100GE (100 Gigabit Ethernet), 10GE (10 Gigabit Ethernet), and GigE (1 Gigabit Ethernet) ports.
