Nevada OSHA probing death of worker at airport in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (AP) — State safety officials are investigating the death of a worker at McCarran International Airport in what authorities in Las Vegas termed a vehicle accident. The identity of the dead person and the nature of the incident were not immediately disclosed Thursday. Records showed Clark County firefighter-paramedics were called a little after 9:30 p.m. Wednesday to a medical emergency. An airport spokesman says it involved a ground services worker, not a Clark County employee. The incident was being investigated by the state Occupational Safety and Health Administration. An OSHA spokeswoman says more information may be released after an initial investigation.
