Grains higher, livestock lower

Wheat for Sept. rose 1.75 cents at 4.7075 a bushel; Sept. corn was up 10.25 cents at 3.71 a bushel, Sept. oats gained 5.5 cents at $2.8025 a bushel; while Sept. soybeans advanced 9.25 cents at $8.6725 a bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Aug. live cattle was off .28 cent at $0.9992 a pound; Aug. feeder cattle fell 1.2 cents at $1.3457 a pound; while Oct. lean hogs dropped 3 cents at $.6200 a pound.
