Grains higher, livestock higher

Wheat for Sept. gained 8.25 cents at 4.8575 a bushel; Sept. corn rose 6.25 cents at 3.5450 a bushel, Sept. oats was up 3.25 cents at $2.9025 a bushel; while Sept. soybeans advanced 29 cents at $8.83 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Aug. live cattle was up .22 cent at $.9872 a pound; Aug. feeder cattle rose .78 cent at $1.3685 a pound; while Oct. lean hogs gained 3 cents at $.6317 a pound.
