Grains lower, livestock mixed.

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lower on Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for Mar. lost 21.25 cents at $7.4425 a bushel; Mar. corn was off 12.25 cents at $5.8675 a bushel; Mar. oats declined 29.50 cents at $6.2350 a bushel; while Jan. soybeans fell 14 cents at $13.5925 a bushel.

Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Dec. live cattle was up .43 cent at $1.3710 a pound; Jan. feeder cattle rose .63 cent at $1.6230 a pound; Feb. lean hogs fell 1.40 cents at $.7737 a pound.
