Lawrence Jones, an American Commentator, Author, and FOX News co-host, has spent the last few months traveling across the country to document “Revival with Lawrence Jones.” In this series, his goal has been to capture the “spiritual comeback” unfolding across state lines.
At just 33 years old, Jones once believed that the Church was dying. Since beginning this documentary series, however, his faith, and that of many others, has been greatly encouraged.
“I really did feel like the Church itself, not faith, but the Church was kind of dying,” Jones told Christian Post. But after his filming, the TV host “left with this renewed sense of hope.”
In the five-episode series, which premiered on April 2nd, Jones explores the faith of Gen Z across America. Reflecting on his own faith and the faith of his nation, Jones added that many “have been shocked about the number of young people who are going back to faith.”
“There are so many people who think … this is just a trend,” Jones added, “But I think through the series, they’re realizing, ‘Oh, this is happening everywhere.’”
In recent years, revivals across college campuses, churches, and schools have gone viral. Even after the COVID-19 pandemic, those who were once searching for meaning are now finding it. From Asbury to other large campuses across the U.S., it’s clear that God is on the move. Gen Z’s fascination with God isn’t just a fad, but a powerful return to the one who created them and called them “His children.”
Crediting God, community, and genuine repentance, Jones notes that he felt “unqualified to do the series,” But I think, honestly, that’s why I’m a good fit for it, because that is this new generation. They’re coming with all their baggage … and that is OK.”
“Revival” is now streaming on Fox Nation.
