Many believers wrestle with feelings of failure, insecurity, or confusion about who they truly are. Yet Scripture reminds us that our identity is not found in our mistakes, accomplishments, or the opinions of others. Our identity is rooted in Christ.

In 1 John 3, the Apostle John declares that we are called children of God. This identity is not earned through perfection or performance. It is given through the overwhelming love of the Father. Even when life tries to redefine us, God continues to call us His beloved children.

Today’s prayer encourages us to release false narratives and walk confidently in the grace and love of Jesus Christ. God has called you by name, redeemed you, and welcomed you into His family.

Scripture

“See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are.” — 1 John 3:1

Prayer

Father, remind me who I am in You today. When fear, shame, or insecurity try to define me, help me remember that I am Your child through Jesus Christ. Thank You for loving me completely and calling me by name. Help me walk confidently in Your grace and truth today. In Jesus’ name, amen.
