GREENWICH, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sep 9, 2025--

Fieldpoint Private Trust announced the appointment of Brian Donovan as President, Family Office, marking a significant addition to the firm’s leadership team as it expands its premier family office and advanced planning services.

Mr. Donovan brings nearly 30 years of experience in tax, estate planning, and multi-generational wealth structuring for entrepreneurs, executives, and family offices. He joins Fieldpoint Private Trust from Northern Trust, where he served as Senior Managing Director for the Greater New York and Connecticut offices. In that role, and his prior role as Regional Managing Director of the Global Family and Private Investment Office, Brian was responsible for diversified teams of wealth management and investment professionals, including advising ultra-high-net-worth families and institutions on complex wealth planning, fiduciary, and family governance strategies.

Earlier in his career, Donovan held senior roles at Ernst & Young, Day Pitney LLP, and Arthur Andersen, building a diverse background across law, tax, and wealth planning. He holds a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School and an LL.M. in Estate Planning from the University of Miami.

“Brian’s depth of expertise and his long track record of guiding sophisticated families through complex planning challenges will be instrumental as Fieldpoint Private Trust continues to grow its multifamily office platform,” said Nicholas Stonestreet, CEO of Fieldpoint Private Trust. “His leadership underscores our commitment to delivering advanced, planning-first solutions to clients and their advisors.”

In his new role, Donovan will oversee Fieldpoint’s family office services, including integrated wealth structuring, fiduciary oversight, and legacy planning strategies tailored to the unique needs of business owners, entrepreneurs, and multigenerational families.

In addition to his role as President, Family Office, Donovan has also become an equity partner in Fieldpoint Private Trust, underscoring his long-term commitment to the firm and the families it serves.
