OVERLAND PARK, Kan.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sep 4, 2025--

ACERTUS, the largest automotive logistics-as-a-service platform, today announced the promotion of Michael DeLuca to Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. DeLuca, who most recently served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer, brings more than two decades of leadership experience to the role and will guide the company into a new era of growth. DeLuca will focus on setting the strategic vision to capitalize on current business momentum, innovating technology, and meeting evolving market demands.

“Michael combines financial expertise with a people-first approach, making him the right leader to chart the course for ACERTUS’ next phase of expansion,” said Andrew Mayer, ACERTUS Board Lead Director and Tailwind Capital Partner. “We have tremendous confidence in his vision and look forward to supporting him as the team continues to solidify its market leadership.”

Michael DeLuca brings more than two decades of financial and operational leadership experience to his new role as CEO. Prior to joining ACERTUS, DeLuca served as Chief Financial Officer at YA Group and Integrated Supply Network (ISN). Earlier in his career, DeLuca held leadership roles at Tech Data, Deloitte, and PwC, gaining global experience in both North America and Europe. He also serves on the board of RMW Accounting, further underscoring his depth of expertise in guiding organizations through growth and transformation.

“I am humbled and honored to step into the role of CEO at ACERTUS,” said DeLuca. “Having served as CFO, I’ve seen firsthand the talent on the ACERTUS team and the strength of our commitment to customers. I am proud of the relationships that have been built and am excited to lead this exceptional team into the next chapter. Every day our customers place their trust in us – this is a responsibility we do not take lightly. With that trust, we will continue to drive growth, expand our capabilities and deliver enhanced value for our employees, customers, logistics partners and shareholders.”

As part of this leadership transition, ACERTUS is expanding the executive team with the creation of two new roles. Kevin Oakleaf has been appointed to the newly established position of Chief Legal Counsel and Secretary and Gina Sheffler will step into the new role of Senior Vice President, Business and Customer Enablement. Both leaders bring deep expertise and will strengthen ACERTUS’ ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
