SAN MATEO, Calif. (AP) — SAN MATEO, Calif. (AP) — GoPro Inc. (GPRO) on Thursday reported a loss of $37.2 million in its fourth quarter.
On a per-share basis, the San Mateo, California-based company said it had a loss of 24 cents. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 9 cents per share.
The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 11 cents per share.
The action video camera maker posted revenue of $200.9 million in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $199.2 million.
For the year, the company reported a loss of $432.3 million, or $2.82 per share. Revenue was reported as $801.5 million.
