His career began in Santiago, Chile, where he served at major financial institutions including Banco Penta, and Banco BICE. In 2008, Diaz moved to Miami to join Credit Suisse. Later on, in 2013 he joined Merrill Lynch, where he focused on structured notes, alternative investments, and client-specific portfolios.
