Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits (Southern Glazer’s) – the world’s preeminent distributor of beverage alcohol – today announced that Pete McLaughlin, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Kentucky and Ohio, will be stepping away from his position to take a consulting role with the Company, effective January 1, 2026. In this role, he will focus on legislative affairs for Kentucky and help mentor the next generation of General Managers for Southern Glazer’s.

McLaughlin holds an incredible 41-year career with Southern Glazer’s. He joined in 1984 as a Sales Consultant with Crane Distributing that was later purchased by Southern Glazer’s in 1997. He has held several leadership roles within the Company and in 2004, was promoted to the role of Vice President, General Sales Manager for the Kentucky division. Since 2016, McLaughlin has been in his current role, serving as Executive Vice President for the states of Kentucky and Ohio.
