LONDON (AP) – Kevin Spacey is denying new allegations of inappropriate behavior ahead of a documentary that will stream on Max this week. Spacey says in an online interview with journalist Dan Wootton he takes full responsibility for what he’s done, but he has never told anyone he would help their career if they gave him sexual favors. Spacey says although he was acquitted of all criminal charges, he feels like he’s serving a “life sentence” because he cannot work. Spacey also says that the makers of the “Spacey Unmasked” documentary refused to give him more than week to respond to non-specific allegations.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Michelle Yeoh and Phil Donahue were among the 19 people who were given the nation’s highest civilian honor on Friday. President Joe Biden presented them with the Presidential Medal of Freedom at a White House ceremony. Biden says Yeoh “continues to enrich American culture and inspires us to believe in possibilities on the big screen and beyond.” Biden says Donahue “helped change hearts and minds through honest and open dialogue.”

LONDON (AP) – Actor Bernard (BER'-nerd) Hill, known for his roles in “Titanic” and “The Lord of the Rings” movies, has died. His agent says Hill died yesterday at the age of 79. Hill played Captain Edward Smith in “Titanic,” who retreats to the wheelhouse as water bursts through the windows. Hill joined “The Lord of the Rings” movies with the second one, “The Two Towers,” and returned for “The Return of the King.” He played Théoden, King of Rohan, who leads troops into battle with the yell, “Ride for ruin and the world’s ending!”

NEW YORK (AP) – Netflix and Robert De Niro’s representative confirm that video yelling at a crowd, “This is not a movie – this is real!” in New York City was indeed part of a movie, not a protest. Netflix says a video circulating online shows De Niro on April 27 rehearsing a scene for the conspiracy thriller “Zero Day.” The video has been mislabeled to suggest De Niro is yelling at anti-Israel protesters. In the clip, De Niro tells a crowd they need to let people get their jobs done and “you wanna keep talking nonsense, then you gotta go home.”

NEW YORK (AP) – “The Fall Guy” is the top movie this week, but it did not have as big of an opening as expected. It made $28.5 million domestically, according to studio estimates. The number-two movie this week is a surprise: “Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.” It was re-released to mark its 25th anniversary. Last week’s number-one movie, “Challengers,” drops to third, followed by the supernatural horror movie “Tarot.” “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire” is fifth.

“Emily in Paris” will have a two-part debut for season four. Lily Collins says in a preview from Netflix that part one will be released Aug. 15, with the second part on Sept. 12.
