MELVILLE, N.Y. (AP) — MELVILLE, N.Y. (AP) — The First of Long Island Corp. (FLIC) on Thursday reported net income of $3.2 million in its fourth quarter.

The bank, based in Melville, New York, said it had earnings of 14 cents per share.

The holding company for The First National Bank of Long Island posted revenue of $44.3 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $21.2 million, surpassing Street forecasts.

For the year, the company reported profit of $17.1 million, or 75 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $85.3 million.
