Brooks Running saw record global growth in 2025
Brooks’ sharp focus on the runner led the brand to achieve the No. 1 market position in performance running footwear at U.S. specialty retail in Q4. 2 In NA, The Brooks Run Club, the brand’s loyalty program, surpassed 2 million members, doubling year over year. Globally, running continued to grow in 2025. In EMEA in 2025, the performance running footwear market grew 14% in France and 21% in Germany with Brooks outpacing both 22% and 28%, respectively. 3 In Germany, Brooks secured the No. 1 market position in adult performance running footwear priced €90+ in 2025. 4 On the global app Strava, where Brooks’ combined NA and EMEA run clubs exceed 785,000 members, more than any other run brand on the app, running clubs more than tripled in 2025. 5
“Running continues to gain extraordinary momentum around the world as more people choose movement as part of their approach to health and wellness,” said Dan Sheridan, Brooks CEO. “Our opportunity ahead is incredibly exciting and I have great confidence in the entire Brooks global team. Following a record 2025, we enter 2026 energized by the innovations and programs we’ll deliver to runners and retailers worldwide.”
Innovation breakthroughs and bold product launches drive momentum
In 2025, ten Brooks footwear styles posted year‑over‑year revenue growth of 20% or more. The Glycerin series, featuring Brooks’ new DNA Tuned midsole foam, delivered 33% revenue growth and a 27% increase in unit sales year over year, accelerated by a 46% year-over-year revenue surge in Q4. The iconic Brooks Adrenaline GTS celebrated its 25 th anniversary, contributing double-digit full-price growth as a top seller for the brand. Brooks continued its rapid pace of innovation by introducing the all-new Glycerin Flex, featuring an industry-first articulated, strategically segmented midsole. This marked a bold milestone for the brand as it leads the category into what’s next for performance running innovation.
At Paris Fashion Week in January 2025, Brooks unveiled its new lifestyle footwear collection, which celebrates the brand’s 112-year heritage as a leader in sport and answers customer desire for performance-inspired silhouettes to wear on and off the run. Brooks partnered with streetwear pioneers and visionaries to launch multiple sought-after collaborations including the Brooks x STAPLE Adrenaline GTS 4 with New York-based Jeff Staple and the Brooks x RSVP Gallery Caldera 8 with the renowned Don C.
Brooks shows up for runners around the world
In 2025, Brooks further embedded itself into the sport by creating immersive brand experiences at premier global running moments throughout the year. During the Tokyo, Chicago, and Berlin World Major Marathons, in addition to the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, the brand opened Hyperion Houses where runners could try product, meet elite athletes, and build community. During the newest World Major Marathon in Sydney, Books brought its unique energy to Sydney Harbor where teammates on its Hyperion Houseboat cheered runners on from the water during the iconic race. And, at the TCS New York City Marathon, Brooks partnered with actor and singer Anthony Ramos, teaming him with Brooks’ Chief Running Advisor and 2018 Boston Marathon champion Des Linden to bring his debut marathon journey to life – and across the finish line.
Brooks expanded its touchpoints with runners in 2025 through several impactful new sponsorships. In its first year, Brooks and run Disney unveiled a collection of Disney-themed performance running shoes that continue to delight runners and break e-commerce and event expo revenue records for the brand. In Europe, Brooks sponsored England’s AJ Bell Great North Run, the world’s largest half marathon, and debuted the first‑ever Marathon München by Brooks, a vibrant new partnership that brought three days of city‑wide celebration to Munich. Collectively, these new sponsorships delivered brand exposure to more than 250,000 race registrants across the globe, deepening Brooks’ connection to runners and run culture worldwide.
Brooks champions the sport, from elite athletes to rising young runners
Brooks professional athletes delivered standout performances throughout the year. Within the trail running space, an area of expansion for Brooks, Anna Gibson finished first at the USATF Mountain Running Championships and Chris Myers placed second at the Western States Endurance Run in June. Oria Liaci earned the bronze medal at the 2025 World Mountain Running Championships in the Classic Mountain race; her performance helped Switzerland secure the team bronze medal. The all-new Brooks Cascadia Elite contributed to 12 first-place finishes and 30 podiums throughout the 2025 trail season. At the World Athletics Championships in September, Brooks sponsored all three U.S. women’s marathoners – Erika Kemp, Jess McClain, and Susanna Sullivan – with Sullivan and McClain finishing in the top 10, and all wearing Brooks Hyperion Elite racing product.
Brooks also deepened its commitment to youth running by hosting the new Brooks XC Championships in partnership with Fleet Feet, bringing the nation’s top cross-country athletes together to compete for the national individual title. The Brooks XC Championships complements the longstanding Brooks PR Invitational, a national youth track meet where in 2025, 83 athletes earned personal records, two athletes set national records, and one athlete clocked a new world record. Through Brooks’ Future Run Team Grants program, the brand equipped more than 4,000 high school cross country and track athletes with head-to-toe gear and over 80 high schools with financial assistance to help teams cover critical expenses, totaling over one million dollars in 2025.
