YuJa, Inc., a leading provider of cloud-based digital compliance and accessibility solutions for regulated sectors, announces that YuJa and the University of Notre Dame have been selected to co-present an accessibility-focused session at the EDUCAUSE 2025 Annual Conference in Nashville, Tennessee.
The EDUCAUSE Annual Conference is the largest gathering of higher education IT professionals and technology providers worldwide. The presentation, "Scaling Accessibility: How Automation and AI are Making Universal Access Achievable," will take place Tuesday, October 28, from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. CDT.
Steve Varela, director of Teaching and Learning Technologies at the University of Notre Dame, and Isaac Kingsmith, director of Business Development at YuJa, Inc., will address one of higher education's most critical challenges: creating truly accessible educational experiences for all students while managing resource constraints and compliance requirements. The presentation will explore how cutting-edge automation and AI technologies are revolutionizing accessibility in higher education, providing institutions with practical frameworks and strategies to implement AI-enhanced accessibility solutions.
"Colleges and universities have a responsibility to bridge gaps that create barriers to inclusive learning environments," Varela said. "AI and automation will be essential to advance and scale universal access to education and create the experiences students expect and deserve."
"Being selected to present at EDUCAUSE alongside our partners at the University of Notre Dame is a tremendous honor," Kingsmith said. "This collaboration represents the kind of partnership between technology providers and institutions that drives real innovation in accessibility. We're excited to share practical insights on how AI and automation can help institutions create truly inclusive learning environments at scale."
